The Story

It was just another lovely dinner at the castle with Mario^™, Luigi^™, Toad^™, and Princess Peach^™... Until suddenly the ferocious Koopa fleet invades Mushroom Kingdom airspace, and launches a full-on assault! With Bowser^™ at the helm and his Koopalings each in their own custom airships, the castle is under siege with the Princess trapped inside—and the heroes have been cast out to the furthest reaches of the Mushroom Kingdom. Can they make it back in time to save the day?

This platforming pro knows the Mushroom Kingdom inside and out. He meets new challenges head on, and smashes through them like a measly old brick block.

Living up to the high platforming standards set by his sibling, Luigi will get you through platforming challenges in a jiffy.
Blue Toad

Blue Toad is just one of many fungal fellows out to lend a helping hand. His platforming skills stack up to Mario's quite nicely.
Yellow Toad

This Toad is no chicken! Step into his shoes and join Mario on a quest to restore peace to the Mushroom Kingdom.
Princess Peach

The poor Princess has some uninvited guests at her castle… Can you get back and help her out before unspeakable horrors befall the palace?

Yoshi^™ is as hungry as ever! He'll eat enemies and berries in his way, and use his powerful legs to help you reach greater distances.
Baby Yoshi

Each color of Baby Yoshi found in the wild has unique traits. Invite them on your adventure, and you'll have their abilities at your disposal while they satisfy their monster appetites.

Bowser Jr.

Bowser's mischievous little sidekick has new vehicles and new tricks up his sleeve to trip up Mario and friends…Watch out!

With a fearsome fleet of airships at his disposal, Bowser and his cohorts have decided to mount an attack right on the heroes' home turf.
Your Mii

When playing in Boost Rush, Challenge, or Coin Battle modes, anyone with a Wii Remote controller can choose their Mii character instead of the Mushroom Kingdom cast!
